The group's motor company possesses whole-unit vacuum pressure impregnation (GVPI) technology and multi-adhesive molding technology. From 2008 to 2011, the company completed the localization of SVPI stator bars, and the performance of its developed SVPI stator bars for an air-cooled 200 MW steam turbine generator is comparable to imported products.
The Duhang Hydropower Project previously tendered for the overall replacement and retrofitting of stator bars for three units, planning to implement the retrofitting gradually from 2026 to 2028. The tender required bidders to have experience in the overall retrofitting of stator bars for bulb-type hydro-generators with a single unit capacity of 20MW or above.
