United Power was granted a patent in January 2026 for an invention entitled "A Stator Assembly and Motor," whose stator windings employ a specifically arranged hairpin coil, combining short-pitch and long-pitch hairpin coils to achieve a balance of back EMF, resistance, and inductance in each sub-winding.
Evolution of Flat Wire Technology: Flat wire motor technology continues to develop, with the emergence of various new forms such as X-Pin, Mini-Pin, Micro-Pin, and Umini-Pin. Veri Electric's first X-Pin stator line has entered mass production. CRRC has developed Mini-Pin and Micro-Pin stators, with the Micro-Pin stator reducing the end dimension by nearly 2mm compared to the X-Pin stator. StarDrive Technology's Umini-Pin flat wire technology reduces the end height by approximately 13%, and its electrical clearance and creepage distance are superior to X-Pin windings.
