In 2018, a parametric modeling method for hydro-generator stator bars based on NX was studied. The inclined end sections of the hydro-generator stator bars were designed using an involute method, and the parametric design was completed using the 3D modeling software NX.
In 2023, the stator bars for the Lianghekou Hydropower Station generator were successfully developed, achieving a major breakthrough in key technologies for high-altitude stator bar insulation and setting a world first in anti-corona technology for high-altitude large-scale generator stator bars. By 2026, anti-corona technology for large generator stator bars has evolved from applying anti-corona paint to one-piece molding anti-corona technology. The calculation method for optimizing the anti-corona structure has evolved from the traditional resistance-capacitance chain structure to the current finite element analysis method. Simultaneously, a patented method and system for calculating the electrothermal coupling field of hydro-generator stator bars has established a more realistic electric and temperature field calculation model for generator stator bars.
